Abstract

Research Data Management (RDM) is integrated into the research process and involves the management of data collected throughout the life of a scientific project. Academic libraries play an important role in this process, providing resources and infrastructure for all stages of the data lifecycle. The success of RDM depends on collaboration between a range of stakeholders, including academics, policy makers, funders and industry. Stakeholder mapping is important to identify and analyse the actors involved, facilitating effective management and harmonious collaboration. Effective partnerships contribute to the success of the RDM. Good communication and relationship management are necessary to maximise the benefits of collaboration and ensure the long-term sustainability and impact of scientific research.
