Tehnologiile informaționale în activitatea bibliotecilor – imperativul supraviețuirii

Abstract

Autorul evidenţiază importanța tehnologiilor informaționale în activitatea bibliotecilor, ca principalele priorități strategice ale Anului biblioteconomic 2021 în RM. Articolul relevă inițiativele cheie fundamentate prin: identificarea posibilităților de dotare a bibliotecilor cu TIC; dezvoltarea parteneriatelor; reorientarea activităților de advocacy în vederea dotării bibliotecilor cu TIC; consolidarea tendințelor digitale; diversificarea ofertelor digitale ale bibliotecilor.The author highlights the importance of the information technology in the library activity as the strategic priority of the Librarianship Year 2021 in the Republic of Moldova. The article reveals key initiatives centred on: identifying the possibilities of supplying the libraries with IT equipment, development of partnerships, libraries advocacy activities focused on providing IT equipment & databases, knowledge of digital tendencies, diversification of the digital offer of the libraries.
